Explosive Waste Incinerator Upgrade
This project for Alliant Techsystems received the Grand Conceptor Award by the Missouri chapter of ACEC. It is now a national finalist. Burns & McDonnell provided design-build engineering, environmental services and construction oversight for upgrades for an explosive waste incinerator in Independence, Mo.
Groundwater Remediation
This project for the Kansas Department of Health and Environment has been honored by the Kansas chapter of ACEC. Burns & McDonnell conducted investigation, design, installation and operation of a groundwater extraction, treatment and reinjection system at an active dry cleaner site in Hutchinson, Kan.
